Bard on the Beach Shakespeare Festival’s 29th season runs from June 6 to September 22, 2018 in modern theatre tents in a spectacular waterfront setting in Vancouver’s Vanier Park.

A powerhouse classical production of Macbeth opens the season on the BMO Mainstage. It plays in repertory with the delightful romantic comedy As You Like It, set in the ‘60s and full of Beatles’ music.

On the Howard Family Stage, it’s Timon of Athens, a provocative study of greed and false friends, alternating with a new adaptation of Lysistrata, the story of the first-ever women’s strike. Tickets and information: bardonthebeach.org or 604-739-0559.
