Sport Hosting Vancouver
Sport Hosting Vancouver is a partnership between the City of Vancouver, the Vancouver Hotel Destination Association, PavCo, the University of BC and Tourism Vancouver. The organization works to attract major sport events to the city, while making the planning of an event easier by creating a single point of contact.
B.C. Pavilion Corporation (PAVCO)
PavCo operates two of B.C.'s top event facilities: BC Place Stadium and the Vancouver Convention Centre, which host everything from global summit meetings to world class sporting and entertainment events.
Canadian Sport Tourism Alliance (CSTA)
The CSTA's mission is to increase capacity and competitiveness of communities across Canada in hosting sporting events. Key objectives include providing the sport tourism industry with a credible image and profile, facilitating opportunities between sport and tourism partners, and providing access to sport tourism planning tools.
National Association of Sports Commissions
The National Association of Sports Commissions (NASC) is the CSTA's counterpart in the United States. The NASC is the primary network for communication and information-sharing on all topics relating to the sports event industry.
