Nicole Havers has been promoted to our Marketing Manager, Meetings & Conventions. Nicole has been an integral part of the Marketing and M&C teams for some time – having grown the portfolio and scope of her responsibility while providing leadership for marketing initiatives and campaigns within M&C.
Krista Alcazar is stepping into the role as Manager, Sales & Market Development, Leisure Travel, Europe & South Pacific. For the past 5 years Krista has made a significant contribution to this department and Europe/South Pacific portfolio. As part of the Leisure Travel sales and market development team, we look forward to seeing Krista apply her market knowledge and leadership skills to this portfolio in order to continue to strengthen our competitiveness in the market.
Kristine Sigurdson is stepping into the role of Marketing Manager, Leisure Travel. Kristine has been supporting the marketing programs initiated by Leisure Travel on behalf of the Vancouver Hotel Destination Association for a number of years. As part of the Marketing team, she will provide leadership and support for the programs and partnerships in Leisure Travel.
Lucia Kim has accepted the position of Be a Host Program Assistant. Lucia earned her Bachelor of Arts at McGill and curently attends the UBC Sauder School of Business as she works towards completing her Certified Sales & Marketing Executive designation. Lucia speaks four languages (English, Korean, French and Spanish) and is a self-proclaimed foodie.
Gabriel Wang has accepted the post of Business Development Manager, China. Gabriel is a graduate of Beijing University with a Business English Bachelor degree. Previously, Gabriel worked with the Macao Government Tourism Office where he gained experience in the MICE and leisure markets. Gabriel has developed marketing plans that range from print to social media, to MICE sales missions and trade shows throughout the China market.
