In November, Tourism Vancouver and six of its members went to the United Kingdom and Germany to promote our destination and their businesses. The sales mission included four training events in partnership with Air Canada, in Manchester, London, Hamburg and Munich, attended by travel agents, tour operator reservation staff and product managers. The trip also included sales training with key accounts Travel Counsellors, Canadian Affair, CANUSA Touristik and FTI Touristik. In total 359 front line sales staff where educated about how to sell Vancouver and the amazing experiences on offer for their customers.
