Tourism Vancouver's Communications, Leisure Travel and Meetings & Conventions Sales teams are active locally and in-market promoting Vancouver as a destination of choice.  Here are some upcoming initiatives they're working on.

Travel Trade

Vancouver welcomes back Cruise3sixty this year for the third time! Produced by Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA), this key conference for travel industry professionals from around the world is typically held in Florida (Vancouver is the only other city to have hosted).

More than 1350 attendees from around the world are expected to attend. The program combines the best elements of a travel show with business and networking, as well as educational and professional development. For more information, see

Vancouver Post-Cruise3sixty FAM

June 6-9, 2016

Following the Cruise3sixty conference, Tourism Vancouver will host a post-conference FAM for nine agents. The FAMs will showcase a variety of Vancouver attractions and activities with the goal of increasing the agents’ product knowledge so they can better sell Vancouver as a pre/post cruise destination.

Cruise3sixty Sightseeing Excursions

June 1 and 5, 2016

Two exciting components of the Cruise3sixty conference and tradeshow are pre-set breaks in the conference’s schedule (Wednesday, June 1 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and Sunday, June 5 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m).

These scheduled breaks allow cruise travel agents to exit the Vancouver Convention Centre and experience our city’s top attractions and sights. Tourism Vancouver has organized multiple excursion options for which more than 280 travel agents have pre-registered.

Tourism Vancouver’s goal for this conference, and its sightseeing excursions, is to increase the travel agents’ product knowledge so they can better sell Vancouver as a pre/post cruise destination, as well as sell clients on extending their stay in our city.
