With the Global Climate Strike week of action, September 20 - 27th, over 100 Vancouver businesses and organizations have signed up to support the global climate strike on September 27th. Last Wednesday, Vancouver City Council passed a unanimous motion in support of the movement.

This is going to be a major event with over 10,000 people expected. Should you wish to support, you may sign up to register here - this can be anything from amplifying the call to action on your social media channels all the way up to joining the strike and closing your business (or website) for a few hours on the day of the strike.

The following is an interactive map of supporting businesses and organizations, as well as the Sustainabiliteens' Facebook event, which has all the info for September 27th.

The Vancouver Global Climate Strike will take place on September 27th from 1:00pm to 5:00pm in front of City Hall.

Participation is likely to be high, so notice there will be road closures along Cambie Street, W12th Avenue and Broadway around City Hall.
