As Forum Forward’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) sponsor, Tourism Vancouver is excited to once again be partnering with The Cradle! Through the #VanGiving campaign, there will be a diaper drive at this year’s Forum Forward.

Since its opening in 1923, The Cradle has helped to place more than 15,000 children into permanent, loving homes. Renowned as one of the foremost adoption agencies in the country, the Cradle provides services to children while finding them loving homes.

Do you know that it costs nearly $100 per month to provide a child with an adequate supply of Pampers®? For a non-profit adoption agency, that's a huge budgetary expense. However, in keeping with the theme of Forum Forward 2017, you can help Association Forum and The Cradle to “deconstruct” barriers for children!

Compete with your colleagues to win the coveted award, "The Grace Cup," named by 2016 winner AHIMA in honor of its founder.

Here is how it works: Notify Association Forum that you will host a diaper drive in your office for The Cradle. Encourage all your employees to bring diapers, and the organization that collects the most diapers as of June 27 will not only receive The Grace Cup but also will be featured in the January/February issue of FORUM magazine. This is a great opportunity to outline what your association does to improve your industry or workplace and how you give back to the community. Note that our sponsor, Tourism Vancouver, will come to pick up the diapers you collected from your office on June 29.

Bring a donation of Pampers Swaddlers to the drop-off location at Forum Forward to be used in the nurseries at The Cradle. Other types of diapers will be given by The Cradle to birth-parent families who have children. Post a photo of you donating the diapers with the hashtag #VanGiving on Twitter or Instagram and you will be entered to win a trip for two to Vancouver (flights included).
