NCAA Division 1 Basketball Vancouver Showcase | November 2018
Premier basketball is back in Vancouver! Starting November 2018, four men's and eight women's basketball teams will descend upon the 2010 Olympic Host City annually during the American Thanksgiving holiday week for the Vancouver Showcase. During this week, National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) Division I men’s and women’s basketball tournaments and round robins will be played under the iconic sails of the Vancouver Convention Centre. The Vancouver Convention Centre’s exhibition space will be transformed into a 3,000-plus seat venue, complete with portable bleachers, portable floor, goals (baskets), and video boards to provide a first-class fan experience at every game. Catch the strongest in women's college basketball with teams from Notre Dame, Gonzaga, Rutgers, Drake, South Carolina, ETSU, Oregon State, and Western Kentucky and some of the best in men's basketball with teams from Santa Clara, Washington, Texas A&M, and Minnesota. Bacio Rosso | October - December 2018
Described as dinner theatre meets Moulin Rouge, Cabaret, and Burlesque, Bacio Rosso is coming to treat Vancouver to a sequence of up close and personal performances and delicious cuisine this fall. In Canada's first gourmet cabaret experience, performances will take place in the stunning Queen Elizabeth Park in a unique Belgian Spiegel tent made of handcrafted woodwork, red velvet, and over 2000 bevelled mirrors. In three hours, audiences will experience an intimate performance of jugglers, contortionists, trapeze artists, magicians, clowns (and more!), complemented by a four-course meal curated by celebrated local chef Adam Pegg of La Quercia. The Aurora Winter Festival inspires the festive spirit through magical winter experiences. Vancouver International Wine Festival | February 23 – March 3, 2019

HSBC Canada Sevens Rugby | March 9-10, 2019
For the fourth year in a row, the HSBC Canada Sevens rugby tournament will be entertaining thousands at Vancouver's BC Place Stadium on March 9-10, 2019. Sevens rugby, a shorter and faster-paced version of rugby, has gained immense international popularity with last year's two-day tournament bringing over 77,000 rugby fans to BC Place. Vancouver is the sixth stop on the 10-stop HSBC World Rugby Sevens world tour and the tournament has quickly become a staple in Vancouver's entertainment and sports calendar. Fan Expo Vancouver | March 2019
With over 500 exhibitors and over 30,000 fans in attendance each year, the Vancouver Fan Expo is one of the city's biggest events. Fans from all over the world don their best cosplay for a weekend packed with celebrity Q&As, photo and autograph sessions, workshops and seminars, and many other events. Each year Fan Expo returns with an impressive roster of actors, comic artists, animators, and cosplayers from around the globe. Previous guests include Famke Janssen (X-Men), T.J. Thyne and Michaela Conlin (Bones), Patrick Broderick (Marvel's Micronauts, DC's Batman), and Jason Momoa (DC Justice League), among many others.
