SKOOKUM Music Festival | September 7-10, 2018
The SKOOKUM Festival, from September 7-9, 2018, is a music, art, and food festival set in Vancouver's world-famous Stanley Park, the shared territory of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. The highly anticipated Festival recently released its lineup of local and international musical artists, including headliners The Killers and Florence + The Machine. Set to be one of the hottest events of the year, SKOOKUM will bring over 50 stage performances on three stages, live and multimedia art installations, gourmet culinary experiences, while showcasing some of the best BC wines, craft beer, and offerings from local craft distilleries. 

Vancouver Fashion Week | September 7 - 23, 2018
Fashionistas, rejoice! As it turns out, Vancouver isn’t all yoga pants and rain boots, as evidenced by the ever-chic Vancouver Fashion Week. This semi-annual event, held in Chinatown, features a cavalcade of local designers, along with Canadian and international talent, showcasing their upcoming collections on the runway. Seven days of shows are capped on both ends by galas that prove to be the see-and-be-seen opportunities of the season.

Fan Expo Vancouver | October 12 - 14, 2018

Vancouver International Writer's Festival | October 15 - 21, 2018
This year the Writer's Festival welcomes over 100 authors to the 2018 Festival, taking place from October 15-21 on Granville Island and across Vancouver. Heart of the City Festival | October 24 - November 4, 2018
With a focus on the rich and diverse communities of the Downtown Eastside, the 15th Annual Downtown Eastside Heart of the City Festival celebrates the creative and committed artists and activists who thrive in the heart of Vancouver. The 2018 Festival features twelve days of music, stories, songs, poetry, cultural celebrations, films, theatre, dance, spoken word, forums, workshops, discussions, gallery exhibits, mixed media, art talks, history talks and history walks.

Vancouver Asian Film Festival | November 1 - 4, 2018
VAFF is the longest running Asian film festival in Canada. VAFF is dedicated to promoting and celebrating the diversity and depth of Asian culture and identity in film and media, and to help North American Asian actors and filmmakers more authentically and more powerfully define and express themselves on screen. INFUSIAN, the theme of VAFF 2018, shines a spotlight upon the diverse artists, agitators, thinkers, and innovators who shape the living experience of contemporary Canadians and the array of influences that inform their work.
