New year, fresh start: this month, Tourism Vancouver debuted an enhanced, mobile-friendly and visually appealing website that makes it easier than ever for visitors, meeting professionals and tour operators to plan a trip to, or within, the city.   

With half of all website visitors now accessing content via mobile device, Tourism Vancouver's website ensures every user's experience is smooth and straightforward regardless of the device they use. The new site features bold, freshly captured visuals to pique interest and inspire travel to the destination; constantly updated content pulled from Tourism Vancouver's social media feeds; new tools for meeting planners; and a diverse collection of planning tools ranging from itinerary builders to interactive maps.  

“Tourism Vancouver's new website is designed to address all stages of the trip planning process: inspiring travel to the destination; sorting travel logistics; providing recommendations and tools for visitors in-market; and encouraging travellers to share memories with their friends, family and social media networks when they return home,” said Darren Johner, manager of Digital and Social Media at Tourism Vancouver. “Ultimately, our goal is to ensure planning travel to our city is just as enjoyable as it is being here.”
