The Richmond Olympic Experience (ROX) is the first member of the International Olympic Committee's Olympic Museums Network to be located in North America.
Located close to Vancouver International Airport, the Richmond Olympic Experience (ROX) opened its doors on November 21, 2015. It is the first member of the International Olympic Committee's Olympic Museums Network to be located in North America and is the most interactive sport attraction on the continent with more than 30 video and touch screen exhibits.
ROX activities encourage visitors to step into the shoes of Olympic athletes thanks to immersive challenges like ‘How High Can You Jump?', ‘How Far Can You Jump?', Soccer Goal Scoring Challenge, Hockey Goal Scoring Challenge, Be a Broadcaster, Body Mirror, and the Hand-eye / Foot-eye Reaction Timer Challenges.
Admission is $17 for adults, $13 for youth and seniors, $11 for children (age 6-12) and free for children 5 and under. An annual membership is also available to residents of B.C. for $30. There are also multiple exhibits available for viewing at no charge, including the History of Sport in Richmond, the Richmond Sports Wall of Fame, an interactive sculpture dedicated to the volunteers of the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, plus a Commemorative 2010 Torch Route that highlights torch stops in each province and territory.
