Speaking of local comedy, Vancouver TheatreSports will be laughing out the old year and welcoming the new with their “2019 Year in Review.” The show will cover popular 2019 topics such as elections, mass demonstrations, climate change, impeachment scandals, and affordable housing and will take place from December 26 to December 31, 2019, at the Improve Centre on Granville Island. While much of 2019 was no laughing matter, VTS will have you howling with laughter at their in-the-moment reinterpretations of the news that made the year what it was.
If your stomach doesn’t hurt from laughing too much, check out Vancouver TheatreSports “2020 Year of Predictions” taking place from January 2 to January 4, 2020. The VTS ensemble will predict the top news stories of the new year with a comedic approach.
