North Vancouver's Lower Lonsdale, also known as the Shipyard District, is quickly becoming one of the city's hottest neighbourhoods. Cradled by the North Shore mountains and the Burrard Inlet, and easily accessible from the downtown core, there's no shortage of year-round entertainment and events in this happening and historic 'hood:

Pride on the Pier | July 31, 2018
While many other countries around the world celebrate Pride in June to honour Stonewall, Vancouver's festivities take place in July and August to commemorate the city's inaugural parade in August 1973. One of these many celebrations takes place on Lower Lonsdale's scenic pier, where you can don your best pride gear for a night of food, games, drag performances, community organizations, and rad DJs.
