Not only did 8 Vancouver bars make Canada’s 50 Best Bars in 2019, but a few even won some awards recognizing them for their outstanding cocktails, wine lists, and bar staff.
Vancouver’s Elisa was chosen amongst over 1200 restaurants worldwide to receive the Best of Award of Excellence for Wine Spectator’s Annual Restaurant Awards 2019. This program exemplifies those restaurants who have a passion for outstanding wine programs. Other Vancouver restaurants recognized include West Restaurant + Bar, Blue Water Cafe + Raw Bar and CinCin Ristorante + Bar.
The Fairmont Pacific Rim’s Botanist Bar was recently awarded Lucas Bols ‘BOLS AROUND THE WORLD’, Worlds Best Bar Team 2019. Botanist’s bar team was one of six in the world competing for the global title as well as a trip to a city of their choice.
Canada’s 100 Best lists are voted on by the country’s leading restaurateurs, chefs, food writers, and gourmets. The judges certainly didn’t sleep on Vancouver, as eight of the city’s bars were named some of the best bars in Canada for 2019. The list includes:
