Kaitlyn Stewart | Royal Dinette
Kaitlyn Stewart added another impressive accolade to her repertoire on August 24, 2017 when she was named World Class Bartender of the Year 2017 at the Diageo World Class competition in Mexico City. Stewart has also finished first place in the Smirnoff Caesar Challenge, the Canadian Whisky Competition, and the Speed Rack Canada Female Bartending Competition for the West Coast. Along with her current role as Bar Manager at farm-to-table powerhouse Royal Dinette, Stewart has also served up a storm at local favourites like Cactus Club, Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar, and Black & Blue.
In addition to being named 2015's Bartender of the Year by both Vancouver Magazine and Diageo World Class Canada, Lauren Mote is also a sommelier and a dedicated industry educator, advocate, and writer. Mote has also been involved in industry events as keynote speaker and judge at Tales of the Cocktail and Top Shelf 20. Currently the Beverage Consultant at YEW and co-owner of Bittered Sling Extracts, Mote's extensive experience also includes Vancouver's Uva Wine + Cocktail Bar, Cafe Medina, Burdock & Co.
Grant Sceney | The Lobby Lounge and Raw Bar, Fairmont Pacific Rim
Named World Class Canadian Bartender of the Year in 2014, Sceney has spent the last seven years overseeing the Lobby Lounge's cocktail program as Head Bartender, and now as Creative Beverage Director. Hailing originally from Australia, Sceney came to Canada for the 2010 Winter Games in Whistler, before bringing his innovative, avant-garde bartending approach to Vancouver.
Sabrine Dhaliwal | Uva Wine & Cocktail Bar
Sabrine Dhaliwal's impressive claims to fame include Global Belvedere Challenge Winner 2015 and being named the city's best bartender by Vancouver Magazine in 2017. Dhaliwal's talents range from spirits to wine, and she's a Certified Spirit Specialist (CSS) and holder of a level three Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET). Dhaliwal also honed her skills at West Restaurant + Bar in Vancouver.
