Opened in 1933 and a designated Heritage site since 1974, St. Andrew's-Wesley is an important landmark for its beauty. It's 14th century gothic architecture and cathedral like setting make it a top tourist attraction and a favorite for Hollywood movie sets.

The church has been featured in over 20 movies and TV series including X-Men 2, X Files and Battlestar Galactica.

The church is also a destination church for weddings, and a favorite venue for concerts, lectures, and mini conventions.

This Christian  church is committed to celebrating the diversity found in the family of God, inclusive of races, religions, ethnicities, genders and sexual orientations (LGBTQ). Central themes are kindness, social justice and peace.

The Nave, with its 34 stained, etched and faceted windows designed by international artists pay tribute to the glory of God. Internationally renowned organist, Darryl Nixon, celebrates 34 years of music ministry at St. Andrew's Wesley and performs on a 60 stop 3000 pipe Canadian-built Casavant organ.

The church is open to visitors M-F in summer and Sunday 10 AM-8:30 PM. Please check website for times.

Under the musical direction of our minister of music, Darryl Nixon and weekly presiders, visitors are treated to a quiet blend of reverie and song. The service is fashioned after the Taizé services in Chartres containing chant-like simple songs repeated many times… more
