With 1,800 artists, 300 concerts, and 35 venues, the TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival is Vancouver's signature festival to kick off the summer and is one of British Columbia's biggest music and arts presentations. This year’s festival runs June 22 - July 2, 2017—the best of international and local artists from diverse genres including jazz, funk, hip-hop, Latin, fusion, soul, and world music perform at venues big and small, indoor and outdoor throughout the city. There are over 150 free events including Downtown Jazz in the newly renovated grounds of the Vancouver Art Gallery and Robson Square during the opening weekend, Canada Day on Granville Island; and David Lam Park Jazz Weekend on closing weekend.
