BC Ferries has two Vancouver mainland ferry terminals, Tsawwassen and Horseshoe Bay, which provide access to Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands and the Sunshine Coast.

Tsawwassen is approximately 45 minutes south of the downtown Vancouver and provides services to Victoria, Nanaimo and the Southern Gulf Islands.

Horseshoe Bay, about 45 minutes north of Vancouver, offers services to Nanaimo, Bowen Island and the Sunshine Coast.

Crossing Times

• Tsawwassen - Victoria (crossing time: 90 minutes)
• Horseshoe Bay - Nanaimo (crossing time: 90 minutes)
• Tsawwassen - Nanaimo (crossing time: 2 hours)
• Horseshoe Bay to Sunshine Coast (Crossing time: 40 minutes)
