After 19 delicious days, 183 amazing restaurants to choose from, and delightful BC VQA wine pairings to savour, the 6th Annual Dine Out Vancouver celebrations came to an end. We extend a hearty thank you to the tens of thousands of diners who ate and sipped your way through Vancouver's culinary riches.

Best Bite Voters Win Too!

Just for rating her Dine Out Vancouver experiences for the Best Bite Awards, Susan Cook of Burnaby was the Grand Prize winner of two economy class tickets anywhere in North America courtesy of Air Canada, and a $500 Visa® gift card!

Gastronomic secondary prizes were awarded to the following lucky voters:

A great evening out is about more than fantastic food. Best Bite voters raved about the servers who made their Dine Out Vancouver experiences special. Of the many deserving servers nominated, Paul Macclosky of Gastropod was randomly drawn as the winner of the Visa Server Prize. Paul will enjoy a three-night getaway for two in Whistler, and his choice of a dinner certificate for one of Whistler's award winning restaurants, a spa certificate or a round of golf for two at the Whistler Golf Club, and a $500 Visa gift card!

Visa Dine Out for a Year Contest

Jeannette Fok of Burnaby was the grand prize winner of the Visa Dine Out for a Year Contest, receiving a year's worth of dining with 52 dinner for two gift certificates for participating Dine Out Vancouver restaurants! Jeannette paid for her Dine Out Vancouver meal with her Visa card at Elixir restaurant where she filled out and submitted her lucky ballot. Happy dining Jeannette!

Five secondary winners each received a $100 gift certificate for Tickets Tonight, Vancouver's Community Box Office and only Day-Of Half-Price ticket outlet.
