As my torrid affair with Vancouver carries on,
I'm always looking out for the good stuff here.

Despite frustrations with public transit service, I use it daily in a struggle between the ideal of carbon neutrality,
and not freaking out when sardined with strangers.

My 'sweet spots' in Vancouver:
South Main for some authenticity amid gentrification
The Blue Parrot for coffee
6th avenue near Maple for calm during the storm
Jericho park for open spaces
10th avenue near Alberta for heritage
Delaney's for people watching
Mayfair News for magazines
Kits pool for fitness/hotties/ocean view
Water street in cruise season for more people watching
Opera sushi at Fir & Broadway (they use flax and black rice!)
Andale's for mexican (on West Broadway or Davie street)
Otis Music for vinyl (also on Davie street.)
