» Tourism Vancouver Volunteer Program - Job Description
- Identify the needs of the visitor and provide accurate and timely information on tourism related products and services in Greater Vancouver and British Columbia;
- Refer visitors to the accommodation, tour, attraction and outdoor adventure reservations services;
- Develop a vast knowledge of tourism products and services, in particular Tourism Vancouver members, and represent them to their best advantage in order to match customers' needs;
- Serve members and the community by promoting local tourism products and activities that will result in visitors extending their stay;
- Greet & welcome visitors and direct them to the appropriate service area;
- Restock member brochure in designated member rack spots as assigned;
- Assist with special projects as assigned.
