BC FERRIES WELCOMES THE NORTHERN EXPEDITION TO ITS FLEET


For a 'cruise line' experience at a more affordable rate, BC Ferries offers a voyage, including private cabins, on the new Northern Expedition through the intriguing Inside Passage where the vessel travels through calm inlets, evergreen-covered islands and majestic coastal mountains. It sails from Port Hardy, at the northern end of Vancouver Island, with stops in between until arriving at Prince Rupert, the gateway to southeast Alaska. Spectacular scenery, with sightings of whales and wildlife - it's the true north strong and free! The new Northern Expedition will set sail spring 2009 and will service the Inside Passage Route.
