Day 1 - Discover the Pacific Rim and the West Coast

  • Begin with a walking tour of Chinatown and visit the famous Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden to enjoy tea tasting and a tour of the immaculate gardens.
  • Transfer to Richmond for a memorable tour and dim sum lunch at the popular Kirin Seafood Restaurant.
  • In Richmond, visit the magnificent Buddhist Temple and unique shopping centers. Shop in exotic stores and sample authentic Asian delicacies.
  • Head back to Vancouver for a rest before having dinner at Watermark on Kits Beach. Following dinner, enjoy a walk along Kitsilano Beach which offers stunning views of the city by night.
  • Some visitors might enjoy a nightcap in Yaletown's hip Opus Bar, where it's not uncommon to run into celebrities. Late-night enthusiasts will want to visit the many bars and clubs of Granville Street.

Day 2 - Discover the European and Indian Influences

  • Depart to Little Italy and take a stroll along Commercial Drive for an exploration of "The Drive," Vancouver's most vibrant and eclectic community. Take a moment to enjoy a nice Italian coffee in one of the many coffee shops along the way before taking a short neighbourhood walking tour to view the colourful heritage houses.
  • Stroll along South Granville Street and browse in the many galleries and high-end stores.
  • Enjoy a gourmet Indian lunch on West Broadway at Maurya Indian Cuisine Restaurant where visitors will meet the owner and learn about the diverse Indian cuisine in town.
  • Visit Little India along East 49th Avenue and tour the Punjabi Market where the region's most authentic silk and textile stores are found.
  • Head back to the hotel for some leisure time before enjoying dinner at the reputed Parkside Restaurant in the West End on Denman Street. Feel the energy and density of this eclectic West Coast neighborhood.
  • For the best people watching in town, enjoy a nightcap at the Roxy!
