Can I purchase and repackage tickets for resale?
The ticket buying process will be staged in phases. During Phase 1, Canadian residents will be able to submit applications for tickets online through vancouver2010.com. In some cases, lotteries will be held to distribute tickets fairly to Olympic Winter Games events where demand for tickets exceeds supply. This process has been used successfully at previous Olympic Games, and is one of the ways in which VANOC can ensure fair ticket allocation for all. Non-Canadian residents must purchase tickets through the authorized sales agent for their respective National Olympic Committee (NOC). Tickets purchased by individuals or organizations are not authorized for resale. Only Jet Set Sports (www.jetsetsports.com) and its affiliate company CoSport (cosport.com), National Olympic Committees (NOC) and their Authorized Ticket Reseller are authorized to package and resell tickets. Visit www.vancouver2010.com for more information.
Hospitality packages which inlcude transportation, lodging, food and beverage services will soon become be available. More information about these packages can be found online through VANOC's Official Hospitality Supplier, Jet Set Sports (www.jetsetsports.com) and its affiliate company CoSport (cosport.com)

Some facilities offer tours such as GM Place, BC Place, and outdoor venues at Whistler. Arrangements must be made directly with the venues.
Are there speakers currently available to address groups about the 2010 Winter Games?
The 2010 Speakers Bureau is a collaborative effort between VANOC, the BC Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Secretariat, and 2010 Legacies Now. Speakers from these organizations can highlight plans and preparations for the 2010 Winter Games, raise awareness in the areas of sport and the Olympic and Paralympic Movements, and educate about the opportunities and legacies that can be achieved by your organization and within your community. Visit www.2010speakersbureau.com to learn more about requesting a speaker for your event.
What rules need to be followed if the Olympics are used in messaging to tour operator clients?
Only official Olympic sponsors, licensees and government partners are allowed to use the Olympic Brand in Canada, in accordance with the terms and conditions of their agreement with VANOC or the IOC. In December 2007, VANOC established the 2010 Olympic/Paralympic Brand Management Guidelines to provide the Canadian public with an overview of why and how VANOC is protecting the Brand. The guidelines also address questions on how to engage in the opportunities presented by the 2010 Winter Games without infringing on the Olympic/Paralympic Brand. To find out more, visit the "Protecting the Brand" section on www.vancouver2010.com.
