BURNABY VILLAGE MUSEUM & CAROUSEL

The fully guided Discovery and Transportation Tours offer your clients behind the scenes heritage experiences, focusing on spaces and topics unique to the Burnaby Village. Groups taking the Discovery Tour visit several historical homes and businesses, hearing about the characters behind them. The Transportation Tour explores changes in land transportation since the industrial revolution. Highlights include stops at British Columbia’s oldest surviving steam locomotive, vintage cars and their restored 1223 Interurban Tram

CAPILANO SUSPENSION BRIDGE PARK

With a steadily rising pre and post season demand, the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park is increasing their daily free shuttle service. Longer guest visits during the peak season have led to expanded later day shuttle service to and from Capilano. April and October are increasing from hourly service to 30 minute frequency from 9:00am to 2:30pm daily. From May to September their 15 minute summer service frequency will offer expanded service from 9:00am to 4:00pm and later day return services increased, returning as late as 5:30pm.

COASTAL PEOPLES FINE ARTS GALLERY – GASTOWN + YALETOWN

The gallery welcomes new arrivals of gift-ready glassworks, framed original or limited-edition prints, carvings and sculptures as well as Patrick Leach’s authentic handcrafted pottery illustrating the cultural motifs of the Pacific Northwest Coast. Have your clients share and experience the stories and cultural significance of British Columbia’s First Nations peoples while in Vancouver. Guests can choose from an extensive selection of fine multi-media artworks online or in person at two prime downtown locations – Yaletown and Gastown.

FORT LANGLEY NATIONAL HISTORIC SITE OF CANADA

Visit Fort Langley - built in 1827 by the Hudson’s Bay Company - where First Nations people exchanged furs, salmon and cranberries with European traders. New audio tours are also available in various languages. Guests can also enjoy enhanced campfire program packages, joining an entertaining interpreter for an evening of laughs, photo opportunities and tasty treats within Fort Langley’s walls.

PACIFIC NATIONAL EXHIBITION

Rock out, drive hard, and hold on! Rock-N-Cars is Playland’s newest attraction that invites your clients to pick the bumper car of their dreams, whether it be a Formula 1 themed race car or a speedy sports car. Located on the historic Pacific National Exhibition fairgrounds, only 10 minutes from downtown Vancouver, Playland at the PNE features over 35 thrilling rides and attractions including the historic Wooden Roller Coaster. Playland is open from May 3 to September 21. Group rates are available.
