I tried the curry wings. They were pretty good. Our last night we went back to Doolin's... We went to Doolin's the first night in Vancouver and got supper. My husband enjoyed his fish n chips. I tried the curry wings. They were pretty good. Our last night we went back to Doolin's just to hang out at the bar & grab some fries. It was packed (Fri nite vs. Tues nite). The place was hopping and sounded like fun... and it was! It had a local sports bar/ Irish pub atmoshphere... My friends and I were walking back from our jaunt to the steam clock and came upon Doolin's. The place was hopping and sounded like fun... and it was! It had a local sports bar/ Irish pub atmoshphere with both live music, a variety of seating areas, and soccer on televisions throughout the bar. The food was delicious, well cooked, very flavorfull and was decently priced ($10-15 per plate). I highly recommend the Guinness pot pie. There were several local and imported beers on tap, and the waitress was very knowlegable and helpful when it came to navigating the Canadian beers. The wait staff checked up on us without hurrying us along or hovering. Our glasses never got empty, which is something I love in a pub. The bathrooms were a little out of the way-- down a steep staircase (difficult to navigate after a couple drinks), but were well stocked and maintained. Read full review
