In Condé Nast Traveler's "Best International Hotels for Business Travel" awards, three Vancouver proprieties secured the first, second and twentieth place spots. Our first class hotels are among the many reasons why Vancouver is the right choice for your next meeting or event.
The following is taken from www.cntraveler.com:
In first place is the Fairmont Pacific Rim. This third and newest of the Fairmonts in Vancouver is adjacent to the waterfront convention center. It was one of the first hotels to add iPad2 devices, which guests can use to access room controls, order meals, make restaurant reservations and appointments at the hotel's Willow Stream Spa, and access more than 3,000 newspapers and magazines via the tablet's PressReader. Rooms have lavish Mascioni towels, linens, and robes, and Nespresso machines. Free Internet access for President's Club members as well as use of the BMW house car service. Fairmont Gold executive floor rooms have private concierge and butler services and lounge access. Take in the harbor and mountain views from the rooftop pool area, complete with hot tub, cabanas and fire pits.
In second place is the Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver. The bright, stylish rooms at this centrally located hotel have city views, down bedding, complimentary basic wired and wireless Internet access, and marble baths with L'Occitane toiletries. If planning in-room entertaining, opt for the premier suites that have an espresso machine and stocked bar, or head downstairs to YEW, which has 300 wines available by the glass. The fourth-floor private health club includes a peaceful indoor/outdoor pool and gardens, sauna, whirlpool, and downloadable virtual workout sessions. Massages are available at the RedCedar suite or in-room. There is an underground connection to the City Centre SkyTrain station to the airport.
The twentieth place spot went to the Pan Pacific Hotel Vancouver. Rooms at this waterfront hotel have floor-to-ceiling windows with some of the city's best hotel views over the bay and North Shore Mountains. Its marble baths have rain steam showers and Jacuzzi tubs, perfect for post-meeting relaxation-unless you prefer to lounge in the heated outdoor saltwater pool. Club level rooms offer free Wi-Fi and lounge access with a breakfast buffet and evening hors d'oeuvres.
The Fairmont Pacific Rim and Pan Pacific Hotel are both connected to the award-winning Vancouver Convention Centre. The Four Seasons is only a short walk away.
