Launching in the spring of 2016 is a new Prince of Whales Whale Watching vessel. Christened the Salish Sea Dream, the new boat will service passengers on five popular routes. The vessel will hold up to 94 passengers with seating for all, both inside and outside. The addition of the Salish Sea Dream allows Prince of Whales to extend its operations into the shoulder seasons and will offer tours from May to October. At 24 meters, the vessel will be able to get close to shore and provide advantageous wildlife viewing opportunities. Gregory C. Marshall Naval Architects and Armstrong Marine have been chosen to create an environmentally conscious vessel. In addition to killer whales, minke, humpback and gray whales, you may see Pacific white-sided dolphins, Dall's porpoise, harbour porpoise, harbour seals, elephant seals, California sea lions, Steller sea lions, bald eagles, common murres, rhinocerous auklets, and cormorants. Full and half day tours are available as well as transfers to destinations like Victoria, or Seattle.
