Vancouver Symphony Orchestra

Founded in 1919, the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra presents world-class performances of classical and popular music under the direction of conductor Bramwell Tovey.

The 2010/2011 season brings together an extraordinarily diverse and rewarding collection of musical experiences, from classical soloists acclaimed worldwide for their prodigious talents, to children’s entertainers that inspire and educate, and cool, swinging Symphony Pops concerts that take you from Broadway to the cotton club!

The VSO, Western Canada's largest performing arts organization, plays in Vancouver's historic Orpheum Theatre and in other Metro Vancouver venues.
