Nimmo Bay, BC's premier helicopter wilderness adventure resort, is proud to be a member of Tourism Vancouver. For 30 years we have been providing helicopter adventures from sea level to seven thousand feet. Our playground is the great bear rain forest where the wild fish and the wildlife are our neighbours. Cedars and spruce trees stand tall and the pristine glacial and snow fed rivers are the home to Salmon, Steelhead and trout, which provide us with a fabulous catch and release fly and spin fishery. The coastal beaches, river valleys, mountains, glaciers, and intertidal bays and fjords, allow us to take you fly fishing, river rafting, kayaking, glacier trekking, beachcombing, whale watching, heli-fishing and heli-hiking. We provide you with deluxe, private chalet accommodation and with our fresh, heart healthy gourmet cuisine, and with an 18 guests maximum.
For 2011 Nimmo Bay has a new adventure. We call this our Wilderness Resort Retreat. Guests can now enjoy all the attributes and amenities of Nimmo Bay without the use of our helicopters. Each day, marine and terrestrial adventures will be available to our guests and include visits to coastal museums, Yoga classes, therapeutic massage, fishing, kayaking, hiking in the lush, green forests, visiting cultural communities, and exploring the many intertidal waterways of the mainland coast, while enjoying the waterbirds and sea creatures who make this place their home. This adventure also has a new price, which is considerably less than our helicopter adventures. We have 3, 4 and 7 day trips.
