Translated, Gusto di Quattro means ‘a taste of Quattro’. And Gusto is just that. A North Shore favorite since it opened its doors in September 2000, the restaurant has a huge history with the Corsi family.
Gusto is located seaside, by the Lonsdale Quay market in North Vancouver. It is the very same location where proprietor Antonio Corsi opened his first restaurant, Trattoria Corsi, in 1980. Corsi’s fare was wildly popular then and the tradition continues. Gusto has been awarded the North Shore News Readers’ Choice Award for Favourite Italian, plus a coveted Vancouver Magazine restaurant awards for Best North Shore and Best Casual Italian.
Chef Nicholas Lim thoughtfully prepares the menu at Gusto di Quattro. He prides herself on creating some of the homemade pastas that made the Corsi family famous at this location so many years ago. Evenings at Gusto are lit by candlelight and appetites are whet by delectable antipasto platters followed by Quattro’s famous pastas and main courses.
The lunch menu offers pasta, savory sandwiches, seafood and meat and dishes including Dungeness crab and rock shrimp cake, charred tomato, sweet pepper, and basil sauce with mesclun greens. Some of Quattro’s well-known antipasti like radicchio bocconcini make an appearance for lunch as well.
A colorful cozy setting, Gusto di Quattro’s colour scheme is positively mouth watering. Vibrant original artwork adorns the walls.
Gusto di Quattro is open for dinner from 5:00 p.m. seven days a week, and for lunch from noon, Monday through Friday and can accommodate up to 50 guests. For reservations, please phone 604-924-4444.
