FORBIDDEN VANCOUVER WALKING TOURS

At Forbidden Vancouver we stage dramatic, historical walking tours on the streets of Vancouver. Our team of storytellers are actors, historians and entertainers - hand-picked and trained to deliver compelling and memorable experiences for our guests. We are Canada's boldest walking tour company - the #1 activity on Trip Advisor in Vancouver.

PROHIBITION CITY

On Prohibition City, be an undercover newspaper reporter on the mean old streets of prohibition-era Vancouver. Visit Vancouver's most iconic buildings like the Dominion Building and the Sun Tower. Hear the stories of Vancouver's most notorious mayor, most beautiful showgirl and most successful rum-runner.

THE LOST SOULS OF GASTOWN

On the Lost Souls of Gastown, explore Victorian Gastown on a theatrical adventure through fires, smallpox outbreaks and murders. Visit the sites of Vancouver's first bawdy house, first fire station and oldest street. A journey into the heart of Vancouver's earliest and darkest years.

TOUR LOGISTICS

Each tour lasts around 1 hour 15 minutes. Tours take place on the streets, with the occasional foray into heritage buildings. Most tours take place in the evenings - our 2013 tour schedule runs April through November. Tours meet at Cathedral Square, opposite the Holy Rosary Cathedral on Dunsmuir & Richards. 2 minute walk from Granville Skytrain station. The public tour concludes at Maple Tree Square, Gastown. The heart of Vancouver’s restaurant and bar scene. 10 minute walk from Waterfront Skytrain station and Seabus. Further details can be found on forbiddevancouver.ca.

PRIVATE TOURS

We offer private tours and can usually accommodate most times and dates. We prefer to keep the experience intimate and highly engaging hence we have a limit of 20 people per tour group. Private tours can be arranged by contacting Will, Founder & Chief Storyteller at will@forbiddenvancouver.ca Public tour tickets can be booked online at forbiddenvancouver.ca.
