Floata Restaurant Group, with headquarter in Hong Kong, operates several restaurants in that city, China and Canada respectively. After the success of the first Floata Seafood Restaurant in Hong Kong, Floata Group stepped into the Canadian Market with the 380-seats Floata Seafood Restaurant in Richmond in 1992 that was the first in the Greater Vancouver area to provide VIP rooms equipped with karaoke systems.

Since then, the Chinatown project is the second and most ambitious venture of Floata Group. The 1,000-seats Chinatown Floata Seafood Restaurant is the biggest Chinese Restaurant in Canada, located in the heart of Chinatown with secured parking lot.

Floata's large floor space is fully dividable into separate rooms with the movable partition walls, each with their own sound system. Since it's one big room designed without any column in the middle of dining hall, Floata is an ideal venue for weddings, seminars, business meetings and theme functions.
