Legendary Canadian bandleader Dal Richards is an entertainment icon in Vancouver. His Dal Richards’ Orchestra played six nights a week from 1940 to 1965 at the Panorama Roof of the Hotel Vancouver, where Vancouverites came to celebrate all their special occasions, and Canadians from coast to coast listened on CBC radio. Forty years later Dal is still a Vancouver favourite…and still playing at the Hotel Vancouver. He hosts a very popular Sunday afternoon tea in the lobby lounge of the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver on the first Sunday of every month from 2 till 4pm. Dal also leads his big band in two shows a day for the 17-day run of Vancouver’s famous Pacific National Exhibition each summer, and regularly performs at Vancouver’s memorable events and venues. The 91-year old Dal is one of Vancouver’s busiest and most popular entertainers. Check his web-site at www.dalrichards.com to see where you can hear him play…and e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or call Dal at (604) 681-6060 to find out how you can have this legendary British Columbian entertain your upcoming convention, meeting, or special event.
