Boneta, at 12 Water Street, opened in July 2007 in the heart of Gastown, Vancouver’s oldest and most exciting neighborhood.
The restaurant was designed to be both welcoming and highly entertaining, boasting an open kitchen, spectacular local art, 20 foot mirrored ceilings and private dining booth for eight. Boneta’s lounge fills early each evening with guests enjoying the custom cocktails, extensive bourbon collection and exquisite small plates inspired by the dining room’s award winning menu.
Winner of 15 awards for 2008 including Vancouver Magazine’s ‘2008 Informal Restaurant of the Year’ award, Urban Diner’s ‘2008 Informal Restaurant of the Year’ ,The Georgia Straight’s Critics' Choice Awards for ‘Informal Restaurant of the Year’ and most recently Zagats ‘ Award of Excellence’ Boneta is also a proud member of both the Ocean Wise Program and Greentable Organization.
Chef Jeremie Bastien takes the lead in the kitchen showcasing a locally harvested products on his seasonal menus while ‘2008 Sommelier of the Year’ Neil Ingram presides over an unpredictable wine list of hard to find vintages and small run labels. The atmosphere at Boneta is lively and social with owners Mark Brand and Neil Ingram presiding nightly over the room to ensure a good time is had by all.
