February 22 to March 9

Music-Dance-Theatre-Interdisciplinary
Tickets: chutzpahfestival.com 604-257-5145

(pronounced: ho'ots-pä) Chutzpah! is the quality of impudence. The word derives from a Hebrew word meaning "impertinence." The modern English usage of the word has taken on a wider, positive meaning to express admiration for non-conformist but gutsy audacity!

The Chutzpah! Festival is a dynamic, multi-disciplinary performing arts festival which takes place every February in Vancouver over a four-week period. Embracing a broad spectrum of high-caliber programming in dance, theatre and music, the festival strives to foster artistic growth and provide a platform on which artists and their work can flourish. Now entering its 14th year, the Chutzpah! Festival features a wealth of extraordinary work by emerging and established artists from across Canada and around the world.
