The 2014 PuSh Festival presents Club PuSh - Tucked & Plucked: Vancouver's Drag Herstory Live Onstage

PuSh International Performing Arts Festival & Theatre Conspiracy present:
Tucked & Plucked: Vancouver's Drag Herstory Live Onstage

By Zee Zee Theatre (Vancouver, Canada)

Ever wondered where drag queens came from? Tucked and Plucked unearths the history of the drag movement in Vancouver. Following the rise of drag culture alongside-and often directly impacting-the queer rights movement, this glamorous and outrageous talk show explores the effect these audacious individuals have had on social and political change. Co-hosted by real-life drag husbands the Queen of East Van Isolde N. Barron and the Baddest Bitch Peach Cobblah, and featuring special guests from Vancouver's drag community, Tucked and Plucked is provocative, hugely funny, upbeat, festive and strangely thought-provoking.

Club PuSh is the social hub of the PuSh Festival, where you can meet up with friends to grab a drink and catch a startling performance. It's all about cutting-edge performance in a less formal, less traditional space. Intimate and dynamic, Club PuSh features an amazing lineup of Marquee Acts alive with experimental spirit.
