The Maritime Museum is thrilled to hold over the "Girl in Wetsuit" exhibit until December 2, 2012, in the J. Torben Karlshoej Gallery, Vancouver Maritime Museum
In September of 1968, Douglas Brown, a Vancouver lawyer, talked to Imredy about his desire to commission a sculpture inspired by the famous Copenhagen mermaid, which could be sited on the great granite boulder just off the northern shore of Stanley Park.

The exhibit offers a window into Imredy's creative process and his journey to create one of Vancouver's most beloved icons.
