Fans of comic books, science fiction, fantasy and pop culture are in for a real treat on October 6th and 7th at the first-ever Vancouver Mega Comic-Con. Typically a culture kept ‘underground’, the two-day event, held at the Hyatt Regency, promises to provide a first-of-its-kind experience for all Lower Mainland residents. Whether you’re interested in learning how to draw a comic, apply movie make-up to recreate your favourite villain, or you just want to see what it’s all about, the two-day event will have something for young and old.
