Wildlife Safari Of Howe Sound

Take an exciting high-speed Sea Safari wildlife eco-tour of Howe Sound with Dr. Jeff Marliave, Vice President of Marine Science at the Vancouver Aquarium, as your host. You'll explore seal colonies on Bowyer Island and Pam Rocks as well as seabirds at Christie Islet. Your experience will deepen as your host explains the dilemmas that go along with the new Rockfish Conservation Areas. Your adventure will take you to areas where the seabed has amazing glass castles called bioherms-ancient life forms with incredible resiliency in different climate regimes.

This unique trip with Dr. Jeff Marliave only has room for 12 special guests and you can be one of them!  Imagine spending two hours exploring Howe Sound with the local scientific expert.  This is an excellent opportunity for budding marine biologists to learn about a career in marine science, for science professionals to network and improve their local knowledge and for those of us that are adventurers and explorers at heart.
