Vancouver Pride Festival

A diverse destination, it’s no surprise that Vancouver is home to one of Canada’s largest pride celebrations. Culminating in the Pride Parade on the Sunday of the August long weekend each  year, the Vancouver Pride Festival actually includes more than 20 official events that bring together the  LGBTQ community as well their friends, allies, and supporters.

In 2024, Vancouver Pride Festival will collaborate with Canada Pride, featuring a brand new Human Right Conference and some other exciting additions.

In the two week lead-up to Pride Weekend, the community comes out for concerts, tea parties, youth  dances, block parties, a fundraising run and a family-friendly picnic in Stanley Park. The parade itself  attracts crowds of more than 650,000 spectators, who watch as rainbow-bedecked floats and costumed  marchers follow a route taking them down Robson Street and south along Denman Street and Beach  Avenue, ending by the waterfront at Sunset Beach. At the beach, revelers join a celebratory festival with  performance stages, a beer garden and lots of community atmosphere.

Canada Pride: July 26, - August 4, 2024
