Main Street Hidden Gems Culinary Tour
Main Street may be one of the oldest neighbourhoods in the city but it is home to some of the youngest and hippest locals. Packed full of designer boutiques, funky thrift shops, and quirky restaurants, Vancouverites know that Main is the street to find the city's best culinary hidden gems. Let us show you five of the very best spots we guarantee you wouldn't find on your own! From local bakeries to a tiki hideaway, we know all the tastiest shops on Main.
We start the tour at the beautiful Trafiq Café & Bakery for a delicious appetizer and a nice glass of BC wine. Then we head to the eclectic Shameful Tiki for a fun Polynesian cocktail. This place is a little hard to find, but don't worry, we know where it's at! Next, we dine on traditional Roman style pizza at Trilussa. The chef actually cooked for the Vatican! We then head to the Main Street Honey Shoppe for a private tasting of local and international honey, a super sweet place to pick up some fun local gifts. Our last stop is at Itadakimasu for some Japanese Izakaya, a casual style of Japanese dining that includes small shared plates.
Due to the alcoholic samples on this tour, you must be 19+ to participate. The legal drinking age in British Columbia is 19 years of age. It's against the law to purchase liquor for or give liquor to a minor. You may be required to present your government issued ID to participate in alcohol tastings. A secondary piece of ID is also required in BC.
