The Stanley Park Pavilion

The Stanley Park Pavilion is one of the most distinguished buildings in the entire park - and it's also one of the most historic. Built in 1911, it's an architectural draw located in the park's famous rose gardens. The main draw is the building’s restaurant, Stanley's Bar & Grill. The eatery features a casual menu using many local ingredients, and a beer and wine list that focuses on Vancouver and British Columbia producers.

Inside there is seating for about 60, but if it’s sunny, you’ll want to sit on the beautiful patio. It's a 200- seat dining and drinking area that is the largest outdoor area of all of Stanley Park's restaurants. It overlooks the gardens surrounding the Pavilion.

The Pavilion is also home to a turn of the century ballroom which can accommodate up to 300 guests for private events. So for those planning for a wedding or lavish affair in the middle of a beautiful rose garden, this could very well be the spot.
