Eco Fashion Week
Going green is like second nature during Eco Fashion Week, a series of environmentally focussed fashion events, mini-conferences and presentations held in Vancouver’s Gastown neighborhood. Attendees can learn all about sustainability, see the newest trends in eco-apparel, listen to top-notch DJ sets and sip cocktails at the opening and closing events. Local and international designers will showcase their latest pieces on the catwalk, and tickets to this non-profit event are only $25 at the door. While you’re in town, book a room at one of Vancouver’s eco-friendly hotels, where you can take advantage of green amenities like complimentary bicycle rentals and sustainably sourced restaurants. Events typically take place in February and October.
